HEARING AID BENEFITActive members, retirees and eligible dependents may be reimbursed up to $400 for the purchase of a hearing aid once every 36 months. This includes charges for fitting and the cost of the hearing aid when recommended by a physician or otologist. The Fund will not pay for repairs to hearing aids, non-durable equipment such as batteries, or appliances or expenses not recommended or approved by a physician or otologist. Obtaining Benefits: In order to obtain benefits from the Fund, submit a claim form along with your itemized bill to the Fund Office. You may obtain a Claim Form by contacting the Fund Office.
