In addition, during the last round of negotiations, resulting in the 2005-2011 contract, the composition of the college's Distance Education Committee (DEC) was revised to emphasize the academic role of the recommending body. Most significantly, DEC now has two governance-elected faculty members from each of the three campuses in addition to an FA-appointed representative. Important DEC policies are also linked below.
